How do I donate clothes?
- Keep an eye on our socials and events page for details of our designated drop-off sessions.
- Check the details of the drop-off session that month. We have specific asks for particular items e.g. children's coats / men's trousers etc. Without a permanent premises we have to be discerning about what we take.
- When you're sure you have the right items needed by our community, please message us through facebook, instagram or email for a booking slot. By being this organised we know we can manage the process quickly and efficiently. Please try to come within your time slot, it makes the process so much easier for our lovely volunteers.
- We always ask that clothing is good quality, freshly washed and donated in a clearly labelled bag for life.
What we can't accept:
As we don't have a permanent space to call our own yet, we are limited on space and have to be very discerning about the clothing we take. We're so grateful to our amazing community of donors who take the time to sort and organise and wash the items they donate as we only have a small (but perfectly formed) team of volunteers.
At present we are unable to accept the following:
- Stained or damaged clothing
- Underwear (unless it's new and in original packaging)
- Toys / books
- Nappies
- Prams / baby equipment
- Blankets / bedding
- Anything that's not on the list that month!
